Textbook Shipment

August 13, 2007

More than 4,000 kilos of recently published medical textbooks are on their way by sea to the Congo port of Matadi. The textbooks were collected by medical students at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. The shipping was made possible by CNEC Partners International and Change Freight Forwarding. The textbook collection has been an initiative of the Medical Students’ Aid Program and HandUp Congo $120,000 in scholarships – Students in UPC’s fledgling Medical School will benefit from the donation of $120,000 in scholarships, made possible in October 2007, by CNEC Partners International and the Singapore Foundation.
