Prof. Nkulu-Kankote Kisula

Prof. Nkulu-Kankote Kisula, Editor in Chief Of the Revue Congolaise de Théologie Protestante, went in December 2006, to Lubumbashi (Katanga) where he presented a course of New Testament Christology, Exegesis of the writings of John, Theology of the New Testament, and Exegesis of the Pastoral Epistles at the Protestant University of Lubumbashi. In February 2007, he was in Bukavu where he taught Theology of the New Testament and Exegesis of the pastoral Epistles at the African Evangelical University (UEA). In the capitol of the Province of South Kivu he held a conference on February 8, on the theme ”Contextual reading of Matthew 5:25-34, for the establishment of peace in the DRC.” In March 2007, Prof. Nkulu made a trip to the Republic of Congo to teach the course of Exegesis of the New Testament at the Protestant School of Theology of Brazzaville. This activity took place in the framework of the partnership decoded on between this last institution and the UPC.

In the framework of scientific days of the UPC held from 19-20 January, 2007, by the School of Business Administration and Economic Sciences on the theme Reduction of poverty in the Democratic Republic ofCongo, Professor N’Kwim Bibi-Bikan held a conference entitled ”Responses of the Church to the reduction of poverty and morality in Africa.” In April 2007, Professeur Ekofo Bonyeku went to the United States of America where he held a conference entitled ”Church Contribution to the Peace Process in Democratic Republic of Congo” at the University of Notre Dame. From 4 to 9 February 2007, Professeur Masamba Makela, Dean of the School of Law, made a research trip to Gaberone/Botswana.
