NALB held its annual meeting on the campus of Princeton Seminary, Princeton, NJ. Board member and Princeton Seminary Professor, Dr. Elsie McKee, served as the host for this year’s meeting. We were joined by Dr. Ngoy, the UPC Recteur, as well as Dr. Samuel Mampunza, the Dean of the Medical School. Dr. Mampunza at Harvard. While in the United States for the NALB meeting, Dr. Mampunza traveled to Harvard for a speaking engagement. Watch for more on this soon. WOMEN’S SCHOOL – The Women’s School of the UPC is a branch which deals with the training of women and girls from all parts of Kinshasa without distinction, in order to make them responsible people within their homes and society. From July 10-13, 2007, it held a seminar workshop intended for women leaders of churches on the theme ”Liberated Woman, partner with God for the restoration of the family and the nation.” Fifty two women leaders took part in this activity of training and information.
