Special Church Service Marking UPC’s Jubilee Year

More than 5000 people participated in a special church service in February marking UPC’s Jubilee year, according to Rector Ngoy Boliya. Held in the Centenary Cathedral on UPC’s campus in Kinshasa, the service was led by Methodist Bishop David Yemba, a 1970 alumnus, and Bishop Pierre Marini. Even an anthem was written and sung for the occasion! “Thanks to the Internet, we believe that this event will be seen by people all over the world,” Dr. Ngoy says.
